Who We Are.....
Although our official establishment year is 2024, some of our friends began the Team Nabachetona journey in 2016. Just like any other day, a group of us were waiting for the train at Budge Budge Railway Station when a discussion arose about the upcoming Durga Puja. We thought, if we could buy new clothes for ourselves and our families, couldn't we do the same for all the poor elderly mothers and fathers who beg in the surrounding area of the station? And that's where our journey began. Now, with over 30 members spread across various areas and fields, our impact has grown significantly. Each member brings unique skills and perspectives to our collective mission.
Our Vision
Our vision is to spark fresh thinking in society, where those who have something can always support those who have nothing. While we may not be able to change the entire society alone, we believe in the power of small actions. Just like drops of water make an ocean, if everyone in society shares the same mindset, it can contribute to creating a better future for all of us.
Our Mission
Our mission at Budge Budge Nabachetona Welfare Society is simple: focus on uplifting children and older people. We know kids are the future of our community. We extend our helping hand to those in need, treating them as part of our own extended family. By bringing smiles and support to their lives, we aim to make our community kinder and better for everyone.
